ABOUT US
Alison Reid-Bretell is a Licensed Acupuncturist and has been practicing Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine since
1996.
 In 1995 she founded
Happy Toad Chinese Herbs in Encinitas, California. One year later she and two other partners opened North Shore
Acupuncture Clinic in Encinitas California.
She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Magna cum Laude with a Masters of Traditional Oriental
Medicine.
She is a diplomat of the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics. (N.B.A.O)
She has also been a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) for the state of California since 2003.
Alison's public speaking topics include using Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for Stress Management, Menopause
and Treating Headaches and Migraines naturally.
She has taught at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego and currently teaches Physiology, Pathology,
Nutrition and Chinese Herbology at The Natural Healing Institute (NHI) in Encinitas, California.
